CONEXPO-CON/AGG is one of the largest trade shows in the world and it's happening right now in Las Vegas, NV. Exhibitors have been busy for the last several years preparing for the 130,000 people that will be walking the show floor. Whether you're exhibiting at a show the size of this one, or your company is participating in a small regional show, you want to stand out and here are few of the ways exhibitors did it at CONEXPO-Con/Agg.
It starts with signage that gets people's attention and draws them into the booth.
Of course booths come in many shapes and sizes. At a show like this, many outdoor exhibitors will create their own buildings, which is great for meetings and giving customers a place to get out of the heat.
Now let's get them to stop by. No one can walk by a transformer without stopping.
A strong man competition is another great way to attract a crowd.
Or you could create a stage for a product overview.
This year's show had scenes everywhere the eye can see.
If you need an extra hand - you could always bring a guy like this. He doesn't take a lot of breaks and can interact with customers.
How do to keep them there? How about a shoe shine!
Did you know the average show attendee will walk around 8 miles a day?
Chances are, your next show isn't the size of this one. Keep in mind all these ideas are scalable. The important thing is that you are thinking about your customers, the competition and what will make you stand out at your next trade show.
