Content and Digital Marketing Coordinator

AKC Marketing, a 100% Employee Owned agency, is seeking a Content and Digital Marketing Coordinator. 
The idea candidate is a highly organized, self- starter who wants to be part of a winning marketing team. Best of all, you'll help the team create a welcoming environment for new and existing clients!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and promote new video editing services, including client relations with existing users and aiding in marketing efforts to expand the user base. Experience in light video editing a plus.
  • Manage the routing process of videos through the system.
  • Coordinate with video team to return edits to user quickly and efficiently.
  • Run monthly analytics and keep all clients apprised of video submissions, topics and more.
  • Regularly connect with clients to ensure proper client relations with the video service.
  • May work with technical personnel in the development and/improvement of marketing tools.
  • Oversee all content creation for assigned client.
  • Assist the full client team in putting together a content strategy for campaigns, including digital, print, tradeshow, etc.
  • Help ensure digital project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • Create and maintain content marketing calendar to ensure regular content throughout the year.
  • Develop search engine optimized content and consistently utilize targeted keywords.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and monitor content activities of competitors as needed.
  • Maintain and update content on client websites as needed.
  • Develop and execute paid and organic social media campaigns for the assigned client, identifying opportunities to build clients’ visibility in reaching their target audience.
  • Develop and maintain online content, including blogs and website content, that attracts attention, generates interest, and is easily shared via social networks.
  • Become an expert in the clients’ business and the competitive landscape and look for new and unique marketing opportunities.
  • Help determine KPIs to measure effectiveness of campaigns and translate metrics to actual insights gained to help inform marketing, development and other key departments.
Requirements and Experience: 
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience, or equivalent.
  • Skilled writer and proofreader.
  • Social media marketing experience.
  • Experience developing a content and social media strategy.
  • Experience working with and developing a marketing plan.
  • Practices superior time management.
  • Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.), their respective participants and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Understanding of how to measure the success of campaigns.
  • Experience with HubSpot or Asana a plus.
  • Agriculture experience a plus.
  • Client travel may be required.

Job Title: Office Manager

Job Summary

An Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of an organization by overseeing various administrative tasks and managing office resources. This position is pivotal for maintaining a productive and organized workplace, enabling other staff members to perform their roles effectively. The Office Manager coordinates office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies, as well as manages office supplies, schedules meetings and appointments, and provides general administrative support to employees.

Responsibilities

Administrative Management

  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, including the review, evaluation and implementation of new procedures.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
  • Manage office supplies inventory, including anticipating needed supplies, as well as placing and expediting orders for supplies.
  • Monitor and coordinate maintenance of the office building and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, clean and pleasant work environment.

Support and Coordination

  • Provide administrative support to senior management and other staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, memos, forms and presentations.
  • Manage and coordinate all internal meetings and events as assigned.
  • Provide internal support to merchandise/apparel team as needed, including but not limited to shipping, order entry, logo application and product sourcing.

Communication

  • Serve as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails and mail.
  • Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or office.

Records and Documentation

  • Maintain office files and records, ensuring they are up-to-date and properly managed.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

Accounting Assistance and Coordination

  • Work with new vendors to collect all required setup forms (W-9, Certificate of Insurance, and ACH info).
  • Assist accounting with entering payables into QuickBooks.
  • Manage weekly accounting for merchandise/apparel online store sales.
    • Download merchandise/apparel online store transactions.
    • Create invoices in QuickBooks to record sales.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with clients as needed.
  • Maintain filing system for accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative position.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of staff and external contacts.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in office management or administration is a plus.
