Merchandise Sales Executive
AKC Marketing...a 100% Employee Owned agency, seeks a Merchandise Sales Executive. AKC Marketing is represented and licensed by some of the top names in the quality apparel and merchandise industry. We serve both B2C and B2B customers such as Corporate, Non-Profits, Retailers, Sports Teams, Sports Organizations and Universities through our online store and sales office in Johnston, IA.
The ideal candidate is a proven professional, outgoing and loves the customer-salesperson relationship. Must be able to provide product information, help clients by being informative, empathetic, and eager to quickly provide ideas, and recommended purchases. A highly organized self- starter who wants to be part of a winning marketing team. Best of all, you'll help the team create a welcoming environment for new and existing clients!
Responsibilities:

Business development – meet or exceed sales goals, write and deliver sales presentations

Quoting clients, processing orders, managing all client communications

Prospecting, cold calling, attend networking events

Growing current accounts and acquiring new business

Utilizes relevant technology to demonstrate our products and services

Accurate and efficient management of sales and marketing for all promotional products

Staying up to date on current marketing trends

Detail-oriented with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Self-starter who thrives within a fast-paced environment and works well with cross-department integration. Ability to juggle multiple projects and adjust priorities.

Must have strong track record of meeting sales goals
